Within 40 minutes of awaking to a burning house, Dolores was in the comfort of a United Way funded program. Dolores was provided support, the day of and for the time following her life changing evening. The support of the volunteers began to help piece her life back together.
Her experience with the United Way program allowed her to rebuild her life and start fresh. Today, she has not forgot the importance of having someone there for her in her time of need.
