Get to know our newest board members: Dr. Roberto Coronado, Christine Gallegos and Ruben Hernandez.
Dr. Roberto Coronado is the head of the Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas’ El Paso branch. He received his Bachelor’s and Masters Degrees at the University of Texas at El Paso and his Doctorate from the University of Houston. He is currently a clinical assistant professor at UTEP, where he teaches in the master of science in economics program.
Christine J. Gallegos is currently a Vice President and the El Paso Community Banking President for Wells Fargo Bank. She began working for the bank in 1995 as a teller, becoming a Personal Banker soon after. She specialized in Consumer Lending and was recognized as a National Sales Winner for seven consecutive years. She is a graduate of the Furman University Graduate School of Retail Bank Management.
Ruben R. Hernandez joined JPMorgan Chase Bank (then Texas Commerce Bank) in May 1992 as a Credit Analyst. Since then, he has worked as an Underwriter and Relationship Manager until moving to the Middle Market team where he currently serves as Senior Banker. He is a native El Pasoan and UTEP graduate.
