Kids Excel El Paso is one of the new programs funded by your contributions to the Community Impact Fund. This year, the program has served 2,800 children in 30 disadvantaged schools. All Kids Excel programs are free of charge to children and their families. To thank you for your contributions which help support Kids Excel, students who have taken the class have sent thank you cards and letters expressing their gratitude.
Kids Excel El Paso, founded in 2004, takes its highly energetic dance program directly into the public schools as part of the fourth grade curriculum. Each class is taught by a highly trained instructor with a piano accompanist, and is energetic, fun, and physically and mentally demanding. Children receive one 45-minute class each week for the entire school year, culminating in a performance where they can show what they have learned and gain positive reinforcement from peers, teachers, families, and community members.
